Aviation and history events

Note on museum events: Plans for 2017 are to have talks at the museum every second Saturday of the month about WWI names represented in the museum. However, this being the centennial of the US entry into war, Andy Parks may not be available for all of these dates. Check back for updates.

Saturday, May 20th

THIRD Saturday at the VAFM - Annual fly-in at the VAFM! Free admission, attractions for the whole family. Andy Parks will be speaking about Doug Campbell (friend and fellow Harvard graduate with Quentin Roosevelt). Museum tours will be at 10:30, 11:00, and 1:00. There will be a $5 lunch (with brats, not just hot dogs!) at 11:45 with the talk at noon. The airplanes will be out for viewing, probably not actually flying, but if the weather is good, Andy said he might run them up. Also expected: WWI re-enactors and WWI/WWII vehicles and an AMX car club.
