Wouldn't it be great if all aviation museums had simulators? Picture yourself strapping in.

"Welcome to the P-40 Warhawk simulator. Your mission is to learn about the P-40. Start your engine."

ROARRR!

Annnd...up in the air!

"As you fly, we will go over the characteristics of the P-40. Very maneuverable? Check. Durable? Check. Well-armed? Check. Sturdy gun mount? Check. Deep chin radiator, that can be painted with a shark mouth to make the Flying Tigers even more fearsome-looking? Check."

Heads up! Zero at three o'clock. Time to put the guns to use! 

BLAM! BLAM! RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!

"You got him! Well done. As we continue the flight, let's go through the history of the P-40. It first flew in 1938 and at that time was considered an obsolete design, yet it continued to roll off the assembly line throughout WWII. It served in every theater of the war and was one of the best fighters of the war, as well as being one of the most famous airplanes of its time. So the - "

Watch out! Zero in the distance!

Actually, no problem; it saw the P-40 and got scared off.

"So now let's turn around and head back for base. In the hands of a good pilot the P-40 would usually come out on the winning side. Obviously, you are a good pilot. Time to land."

Touchdown!
